By extending opportunities to adopt a bench with an custom-engraved metal plaque, this program provides tranquil places for reflection, and pays homage to memories, moments in time and departed loved ones while beautifying our rural landscape.
Each commemorative bench is adorned with a bronze plaque with a personal message. It can mark the memory of a friend or family member, celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or observe any other type of significant event.
The Bench Dedication Program is open to individuals and groups alike.
The Bench Dedication Program is intended to be operated on a full cost recovery basis. A donation fee of $4,000 per dedication bench and plaque is required to cover the purchase, installation, long-term maintenance and administrative costs of approved benches in perpetuity. Maintenance funding is placed into a perpetual care reserve account for supporting the program.
