Airport
The Slave Lake Airport is a busy airport with nearly 8,000 annual aircraft movements — the majority of those being commercial and helicopter. The airport is also home to a medevac base, which provides area residents with access to primary healthcare in the province. Slave Lake Airport also hosts a water bomber base, servicing the largest area within the province.

Cemetery
The Lakeview Cemetery, nestled within the serene Municipal District of Lesser Slave River No. 124, is located along Holmes Trail SE. This idyllic location serves as a sanctuary of serenity and tranquility. The Town of Slave Lake manages Lakeview Cemetery.
