Joint Stewardship of Regional Waste Management
The Lesser Slave Lake Regional Waste Management Services Commission provides solid waste management and recycling services to commercial and residential customers in the Lesser Slave River region of Alberta.
The Town of Slave Lake and MD of Lesser Slave River are commission partners.
We're located 12 km west of Slave Lake on Highway 2, across from the second entrance to Widewater. There is a set of gates across the road as you first turn in, and then you'll see another set off to your left which is the entrance to our Class III Cell. Follow the road up 2 kilometres and you'll see a second pair of gates across the road which lead into the facility.
