Raised on a farm west of Dapp, Councillor Seatter and his wife Diane now make their home in Marten Beach. A graduate of NAIT, Councillor Seatter has enjoyed an energy-sector career spanning several decades. For the past 25 years has operated his own pipeline measurement consulting firm.

Councillor Seatter is an advocate for streamlining the development process, and is a consistent and strident voice on Council for the prioritization of the Marten Beach flood mitigation solution.
