Update as of 11:45am

Bottled water will be available at the Complex starting at noon. One case per household; jugs can be filled at the Truck Fill Station.

Bottled water will be available for affected residents at the Smith Community Complex beginning at 12:00 noon today (Tuesday). Each household will receive one case of bottled water.

Residents who have their own jugs are encouraged to bring them to the Truck Fill Station to collect water. For those without jugs, a limited supply will be handed out on-site (while quantities last).

We kindly ask all residents to conserve water and limit use to essential needs only. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.


The main water supply line serving the Smith community has failed, resulting in a complete loss of service.

At some point during the night, a main water supply line serving the Hamlet of Smith failed, resulting in a complete loss of service to the community.

The MD is aware of the situation, and crews are on site rerouting services while equipment is mobilized to complete the necessary repairs.

To support residents during the outage, bottled drinking water will be available at the Smith Community Complex, with pickup times to be announced shortly.

In addition, a tanker truck has been stationed at the Smith Truck Fill location to provide water until 6:30pm today (Tuesday).
