The Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program (RALP), offered under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, provides funding that can cover up to 100% of eligible expenses for producers to implement and maintain projects over a three-year term.

The program aims to encourage the adoption of Beneficial Management Practices that enhance Ecological Goods & Services, particularly carbon sequestration and climate resilience.

Eligible applicants include primary producers (crop, bee, or livestock operations) who generate at least $25,000 in farm commodities annually; groups such as Grazing Reserve Associations and Community Pastures; approved Indigenous applicants (First Nations, Métis Nation, Inuit); and have a current Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) certificate or letter, or who will receive one before the end of the project term.

Funding is provided on a per-acre basis and is calculated to cover implementation costs, opportunity costs (if applicable), and impact adjustments. Grants range from a minimum of $2,000 to a maximum of $150,000 for primary producers and $300,000 for Indigenous applicants or groups such as Grazing Reserve Associations and Community Pastures.

The program intake period runs from February 1 to November 30, 2025. The Wetland funding category has a different schedule, with applications accepted from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
