Request for Bids 2026 Re-Gravel Program
Building better roads together
The MD invites qualified contractors to apply for its 2026 Re‑Gravel Program.
Each year, this important initiative helps maintain and protect more than 250 kilometres of local roads—keeping our communities connected and our transportation routes safe and reliable.
In 2026, the MD will carry out its annual re‑gravel operations from four gravel pits located in Mitsue, Moose Portage, Chisholm, and Flatbush.
Work will be completed at 2026 Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association rates, with the MD providing operational support through on‑site foremen, graders, loaders, and gravel checkers.
Contractors with experience in gravel hauling are encouraged to submit a registration package for consideration. This is a great opportunity for local haulers to contribute to the continued upkeep of our regional road network.
