The MD is seeking an experienced Peace Officer to support public safety, uphold municipal and provincial regulations, and foster a safe and respectful environment for all residents.

Reporting to the Senior Peace Officer / Program Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for promoting public safety and enforcing municipal bylaws and designated provincial statutes.

The role involves patrolling rural roads, highways, and communities to monitor and prevent infractions; responding to resident inquiries and complaints; and issuing warnings or violation tickets as required.

Grounded in rural values, the Peace Officer opportunity promotes community safety through connection, collaboration, and respect.

The Peace Officer maintains current knowledge of applicable legislation, fosters positive working relationships with other enforcement agencies, and participates in joint operations when appropriate.

This position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion while serving the community.
