New to the MD website this fall is a calendar designed to help locals and visitors alike discover and share events happening across the communities of Lesser Slave River.

Though it was only launched in early September, the community calendar already features local happenings, festivities, webinars, workshops and other events. Wondering what's going on around the MD? You'll find the calendar in the Recreation & Activities section of the website.

Submit Your Own Events

One great feature of this new calendar is that it’s designed to accept public event submissions. If your event is local in nature (either hosted within one of the communities of Lesser Slave River or in support of a regional initiative of public interest) and adheres to our terms of use, you can promote it for free via the community calendar. To add an event, simply click the Submit an Event button below to get started.

Once approved, your event will appear on the community calendar for all to see! The review turnaround time varies based on resources and priorities — but seldom takes longer than a day or two.
