Let’s Remember Pink Shirt Day
Speak up. Get help. Stay safe. #PinkShirtDay
Let’s remember Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday, February 25, which began in 2007 after a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt at school.
This day is now observed globally each year as a symbol of standing together against bullying.
Pink Shirt Day encourages Albertans to be inclusive, welcoming, and supportive of colleagues, clients, friends, and family. Building healthy relationships is one of the best ways to prevent bullying and create safe environments.
