Leadership Role: Director, Community Services

The MD is seeking an accomplished Director of Community Services to join its senior leadership team.
Working closely with the Chief Administrative Officer, Council, fellow directors, and support staff, the Director advances Council-adopted strategic priorities while safeguarding MD assets.
This leadership role provides strategic direction and leadership to deliver high-quality, efficient municipal services through progressive bylaws, policies, practices, and governance-aligned processes.
The Director fosters strong community partnerships, leads cross-departmental initiatives, and supports long-term planning that enhances resident well-being.
The successful candidate is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight of a diverse portfolio of municipal services, including community grants, planning and development, protective services, cemeteries, custodial and janitorial services, and municipal libraries.
