Fire Permits Are the Law
Call 310-FIRE (3473) to report a wildfire in a forested area.
Important reminder: Fire permits are required for all outdoor burning—except campfires—within the Forest Protection Area.
This mandatory requirement is in place until October 31.
Fire permits are free and easy to obtain online at firepermits.alberta.ca or by calling your local Forestry Office in Slave Lake at 780.849.7377, Lac La Biche at 780.623.5388, or Wabasca at 780.891.3860.
