Fire Ban Reminder
Heavy fines for non-compliance
MD residents are reminded that having an open fire during a provincial fire ban can result in a $5,000 fine.
The MD encourages you to review Section 3 of Community Standards Bylaw 2023-03. Peace officers are authorized to issue violation tickets under the Provincial Offences Procedure Act to anyone who violates this bylaw.
