Starting Monday, June 2, the MD’s contractor will begin crack sealing on asphalt roads in the Mitsue and Southshore areas. This work involves clearing cracks of sand and debris, then filling them with a rubberized sealant. The process helps extend the life of the roadway by minimizing water infiltration, which can cause damage during freeze-thaw cycles and wet weather.

Motorists are reminded to reduce speed in work zones and to obey all posted signage and instructions from flagging crews. The MD appreciates your patience and cooperation in keeping our roads and workers safe.
