MD Council wishes to thank the public for their participation in the Land Use Bylaw and Municipal Development Plan Public Hearings.
Slave Lake, AB – June 13, 2025 — The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River No. 124 would like to extend a sincere thank you to all community members who attended and participated in the recent Public Hearings held on June 11, 2025, regarding the proposed amendments to the Land Use Bylaw and Municipal Development Plan.
Council greatly appreciated the time and effort taken by residents, stakeholders, and partners to share their perspectives. The thoughtful and constructive feedback provided during the hearings will be carefully considered as Council moves forward in the decision-making process.
Public engagement is a vital part of shaping the future of our municipality, and your input plays a key role in ensuring our plans reflect the needs and values of our communities.
