This week, we are proud to join communities across the province in celebrating a historic milestone: the 40th Anniversary of Seniors’ Week in Alberta.
Since 1986, inspired by the tireless vision of the late Alice Modin, Albertans have set aside this time to honour the wisdom and spirit of our older neighbours.
Here in the MD, our seniors are more than just residents; they are the architects of our community. They are the volunteers who keep our local boards running, the mentors who share our history, and the steady hands that have helped our region grow over the last four decades.
