Celebrating generations of stewardship and strength
Each year, the Northern Alberta Farm Family Awards shine a spotlight on exceptional farm families—the true backbone of our thriving ag communities in Northern Alberta.
Led by the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies (AAAS), these awards honour families who demonstrate excellence in farming practices, strong leadership within their communities, and innovative stewardship of the land.
Know a dedicated farm family in the MD who deserves this recognition? Nominate them by completing the Northern Alberta Farm Family Awards Nomination Form and emailing it to our Agricultural Fieldman Kierstin Dubitz at kierstin.dubitz@mdlsr.ca.
The Northern Alberta Farm Family Awards celebrate the dedication and legacy of farm families who help sustain and grow Northern Alberta's agricultural heritage.
Nominations are due by Monday, December 15, 2025. The next day, December 16, the MD’s Agricultural Service Board will select one exceptional family to represent our municipality.
