The MD’s Rugged & Real Scholarship helps local students and adult learners achieve their post-secondary education goals.
The MD values education, and offers scholarships and bursaries each year to encourage local students to pursue further educational opportunities, and to enhance the ability of young people to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
$1,000 Could Be Yours!
Up to three $1,000 scholarships are available to local students entering post-secondary studies. Applications for the Rugged & Real Scholarship are due Friday, June 26.
Each year, the MD offers the Rugged & Real Scholarship to support local students pursuing post-secondary education. Up to three $1,000 awards go to exceptional applicants—recent graduates, mature students, or seasonal MD staff outside the municipality—based on merit.
