The MD and Lesser Slave Watershed Council will be co-hosting Working With The Land: Stewardship Workshop on Thursday, February 9. This in-person workshop is free to attend and will provide attendees with valuable information on managing riparian areas and fringe habitat.
During the workshop, attendees will hear from guest speaker Kerri O'Shaughnessey from Cows & Fish about tools for coexisting with beavers on their land. Additionally, attendees will learn about different grant opportunities that can help with stewardship projects.
The workshop will be held at the Smith Community Complex, starting at 6:00pm. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Advance registration is required and can be completed on the Lesser Slave Watershed Council website (LSWC.ca).
