Weather-Related Water Taste and Odor Issues

Please be advised that, due to sustained high temperatures, Wagner, Widewater and Canyon Creek residents may be experiencing taste and odor issues with their drinking water.

Despite these issues, the water is perfectly safe to consume. The MD tests the water system daily in adherence to its stringent quality and safety parameters. All testing falls well within the ranges allowable by the Canadian Drinking water guidelines.

Utility Operators are working diligently to rectify this situation; however, some issues may persist while the temperatures remain high. Residents are thanked for their patience and understanding during this weather-related inconvenience.
