Kindly note that Utilities crews will be flushing hydrants beginning May 4 until May 23, as part of the MD’s routine maintenance program. Flushing will occur in Canyon Creek and Widewater May 4 to 12, in Poplar, Sawridge and Mitsue May 10 to 16, and in Smith May 16 to 23.
Updates will be posted on the MD website and social channels accordingly. Affected areas may experience intermittent water pressure loss.
Remember that it’s normal to experience a discolouration to your tap water once this type of work has been completed. Flushing your toilet and running your water for a few minutes should help resolve this. The MD thanks affected residents for their patience and cooperation during this necessary work.
