Wildfire Status Update

The MD has issued a wildfire status update as of Saturday, May 11 at 5:00 pm.

The wildfire at Cross Lake Road East and Highway 44 is currently contained. Alberta Forestry will remain on scene making sure the fire is out; working on the hotspots.

Crews are currently on scene of a wildfire at Cross Lake Road East and Highway 44.

Be cautious of smoke in the area.
