Clear-cut Guidelines for Open Spaces

Numerous public complaints are fielded in any given year (138 in 2021): primarily due to domestic animal control, noise/nuisance issues, and contraventions of the Land Use Bylaw.


As we continue to enjoy the summer, the newly enacted Open Spaces Regulations Bylaw will help Peace Officers maintain the safe, consistent and conflict-free enjoyment of MD-owned parks, trails and open spaces. Learn about Bylaw 2022-03 by visiting the Parks & Beaches section of the website.
