A well-run municipality relies on hardware, systems and applications working together to keep staff safe, connected and on task. We are currently searching for an experienced Technology (IT) Coordinator to assist in this vital capacity.
The IT Coordinator helps ensure the seamless operation of MD systems, networks and technologies. This role provides staff and Councillors with courteous and effective on-site assistance with MD-issued computers, devices and software applications.
Additional duties include the deployment, user support, maintenance, security and safe operation of information systems at all MD-managed facilities including servers, workstations, communication devices, software licensing and municipal data. The IT Coordinator is also responsible for evaluation, recommendation, planning and implementation of information systems for municipal operations while working with MD departments to meet needs.
