Culvert Awareness in the MD

The MD’s Transportation department carefully monitors water levels and weather conditions due to the annual spring run-off.

Presently, springs in the municipality are running higher and longer than usual. Transportation staff are diligently checking roads and directing crews on when and where steaming is required. Frozen culverts can create problems with the natural flow of water; MD crews are trained and dedicated to resolving these issues. Residents are asked to use the MD's online reporting tool at mdlsr.ca/Report-an-Issue to communicate any concerns. Please be cautious and avoid venturing into unsafe areas. The MD thanks you in advance for your cooperation.
