I had stated previously that we had had a couple quiet weeks. We enjoyed that, but it's now over. Over the last 72 hours, we had crews working over 20 hours. Started with a single vehicle rollover on Hwy 88. A structural fire Friday evening, and Saturday. Hazardous materials standby with the RCMP Saturday. Fire call with one of the local mills in Mitsue late Sunday evening. We also had a medical co-response on Friday evening. Crews are tired, but there is satisfaction in knowing no one died and we saved someone’s house. All agencies involved were awesome, and the interagency cooperation is phenomenal.

Any questions please feel free to contact me at the firehall, 780.849.4110.
