Events in May 2026
Attend a Meeting or Public Hearing
Different types of meetings and public hearings are regularly held as part of the MD's public inquiry process.
This process provides interested stakeholders with opportunities to expand on written submissions and discuss their perspectives with Council and senior leadership in a public forum.
Participate in a Meeting or Public Hearing
Interested citizens are welcome to attend Council sessions, public hearings and related MD meetings.
If you wish to participate in a discussion item, an appointment must be booked through the MD's Executive Assistant at least 8 working days prior to the respective meeting or hearing.
Submit a Community Event
Have an upcoming community event you'd like to promote? Post it on the MD's community calendar!
All events must be local in nature (either hosted within Lesser Slave River boundaries or in support of a regional initiative of public interest), and must adhere to our terms of use.
The MD reserves the right to choose which events appear on the community calendar.
