Seasonal Utilities Labourer

The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River is seeking a vibrant student for a Seasonal Utilities Labourer to commence in May and terminate in September 2026. This position works out of our Slave Lake location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Grass mowing, brushing, and clearing around curb stops and hydrants
- Marking and staking the GPS locates of residential water and sewer curb stops
- Tracking GPS locates of municipal signage
- Assisting other Utilities staff as required
- Assisting other MD Departments such as Transportation and Administration when required
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Alberta’s Driver’s license - Required
- Mechanical aptitude - Asset
- Experience with operation of equipment - Asset
- Ability to work in all weather conditions - Required
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive attitude - Required
Salary Range: $22.65 - $29.82/hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
