Located just 15 kilometres east of the Town of Slave Lake, Mitsue Industrial Park is home to three major timber processing mills; several oil and gas service providers; and one of the largest calcium chloride producers in North America.

Mitsue is connected to domestic and international markets via rail and two major highways. With access to abundant natural resources, Mitsue’s industry-friendly infrastructure includes water, three-way power, natural gas, and a dedicated fire station.

The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River #124 is actively pursuing the improvement and expansion of Mitsue Industrial Park. New asphalt overlays on Mitsue’s west access road and selected portions of the east access road are planned for 2025. Building on years of firesmart treatments in Mitsue, we are also planning for new fireguards on the eastern and southern perimeters of the industrial park.
