Veterinary Services Inc.
Professional services at subsidized rates
A Beneficial Cost-Share Program for Producers
Veterinary Services Incorporated (VSI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping qualifying MD residents obtain professional veterinary services at reduced rates. Through this program, VSI establishes strategic alliances with professional veterinarians to provide a variety of services. The fees for these services are then offset by MD funding contributions.
VSI is a Taxable Benefit
If you use upwards of $100.00 through the VSI program, you'll receive a statement of farm support payments each spring. This statement can then be used for tax purposes; taxable at 100% for yourself or your business.
Download the VSI application form below. When complete, please remit your application to one of the MD administration offices indicated on the application. Alternatively, you can email your application as a PDF attachment to [email protected].
Proof of Ownership Required
Please remember to include proof of ownership of all land and livestock cited in your application.
How the Program Works
Any producer of livestock within MD boundaries can participate in the V.S.I. program must enter into a VSI by entering into an agreement with the MD. To enrol, or for more information, please contact the Agricultural Services team.
