Slave Lake Community Education Committee

Northern Lakes College is looking to appoint a new member to the Slave Lake Community Education Committee.

The Slave Lake Community Education Committee (CEC) is comprised of local individuals from organizations and businesses across the Slave Lake region who meet on a monthly basis (approximately two hours per meeting). The main role of the CEC is to advise the College of the region's education and training needs, and to ensure that the residents have access to local educational opportunities.

Each of NLC's campuses have a local CEC. Northern Lakes College strongly believes that direct input from our communities will ensure that the needs of all learners will be met across the region. The College supports a larger body which encompasses all the CEC's which form the Council of Community Education Committee (CCEC).
