The M.D. is currently seeking a part-time Transfer Station Operator for our Flatbush Facility. Under the supervision of the Infrastructure Lead, the incumbent is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the municipality’s Flatbush Transfer Station including scale operation and yard maintenance.

The preferred candidate would have the following skills and aptitudes:

  • Must possess Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and have own transportation
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Must be physically fit (ability to do heavy lifting)
  • Must be willing to work alone and in all types of weather and working conditions outdoors
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills in working with public


This position works 2 days per week; Tuesday and Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
