Kids Head Back to Classes

As the new school year begins and kids head back to classes, the MD wishes to remind residents to exercise a little extra caution on the road. Help keep our kids safe by heeding school bus signals while driving.

Heed the Rules of School Bus Safety

Flashing AMBER lights mean proceed with caution around a school bus. Flashing RED lights mean stop a good four or five car lengths away, because children are exiting or entering the bus. Steep fines and significant demerits await motorists who fail to heed these important signals.

Safer roads start with you. The MD thanks drivers for exercising extra caution and vigilance around school buses.
