Burning Along Highway 2

Starting the week of January 29th, Residents may see smoke in the area west of Slave Lake.

Work is being completed on the Raw Water Line from Widewater to Slave Lake.

Burning along the pipeline route, which can be found in the photo below will cause smoke to be in the area and it may be noticeable. Brush clearing will also be taking place along the pipeline route during this time. Please note that burning will be monitored by professionals and there will be no danger to residents.
