MD Receives Donation for Widewater Firehall Park

 

Barry Hannah, President of the Widewater Athletic Association presented Council with a donation in the amount of $45,000 for the Widewater Firehall Park. The donation was broken down with $35,000 allocated to implement playground/park features and enhancements, with an additional $10,000 to make the park/playground wheelchair accessible.

Council wishes to thank the Widewater Athletic Association for its generous contribution toward the Widewater Firehall Park. These donated funds will be utilized in the coming months to augment the project as stipulated.
