In commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the devastating May 2011 Wildfires, the MD, the Town, the Sawridge, and the FireSmart Committee worked together to create a video highlighting the considerable achievements of the Lesser Slave Region since the event. The goal was to recognize and celebrate the collective achievements of the FireSmart Committee, the MD of Lesser Slave River, the Town of Slave Lake, and the Sawridge First Nation.
